KISC wishes to announce theWe are a leading group of schools offering both British International Curriculum and the Kenyan System of Education with branches in various counties. We wish to fill the following positions.

SCHOOL MATRON

The Person

We are looking for someone with a wealth of experience as a Matron in a learning institution who will be responsible for the health and sanitation in our boarding houses, has passion for well-being of students and is able to take care of our dormitory facilities as well as laundry in line with the KISC standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee food preparation ensuring good quality, balanced and tasty meals at all times

Ensure clean and pleasant environment and manage and direct cleaners both inside and outside the school

Keep constant communication with the Head of School about students’ affairs

Liaise closely with the School Nurse at all times concerning students’ medical provisions

Organize and attend to catering services for KISC Schools’ events

Qualifications and Requirements

Diploma in Housekeeping

A Degree in Catering and Institutional Management from a recognized Institution will be an added advantage

Minimum of 4 years as a Matron in a Learning Institution

Patient, friendly, loving, sensitive and responsive to needs of a dynamic student population

Good communication and listening skills

Computer Literate

A team player

KISC GIRLS TEACHERS

We seek to recruit experienced and high caliber teachers who are self-motivated and result oriented professionals to join our vibrant team with the following subject combinations

  1. Major in Geography and any other subject
  2. Biology/Chemistry

Qualifications required

  • Degree in Education or its equivalent from a recognized institution
  • Registered with TSC
  • At least 5 years teaching experience in the 844 Curriculum at High School level handling an examination class
  • Has achieved a subject mean score of 8 and above consistently
  • Has experience as a Dean of Studies (Desirable)
  • Has experience as a KNEC Examiner for the teaching subject
  • Professional Development
