Empowering Excellence Through Competency-Based Education
It gives me great joy to welcome you to KISC Junior School, Kitengela, a place where young minds are nurtured to become Engaged, Empowered, and Ethical individuals. At KISC, we believe that every child is uniquely gifted, and our role is to help them discover their potential, excel academically, and grow holistically.
Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will ever make, and at KISC, we are committed to being that trusted partner in your child’s journey of growth and success.
Our school is set in a serene, safe, and friendly environment that fosters academic excellence, creativity, and positive social interaction. We welcome students from diverse backgrounds, encouraging cultural exchange, inclusivity, and a strong sense of community.
We have invested heavily in state-of-the-art facilities and a nurturing atmosphere to ensure that every child feels inspired, supported, and confident to thrive.
The backbone of KISC is our exceptional team of teachers.
Our faculty members are highly experienced, passionate, and well-trained in Competency-Based Education (CBE). Many of them have played a direct role in developing the CBE curriculum and learning materials for both Junior and Senior Schools across Kenya.
This depth of expertise ensures that your child receives world-class instruction that not only imparts knowledge but also cultivates critical thinking, creativity, and a lifelong love for learning.
Every child is unique, and their education should reflect that. KISC offers three dynamic learning pathways, empowering students to explore their strengths and interests:
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics):
Our flagship pathway, chosen by over 65% of Senior School learners, preparing future innovators and problem-solvers.
Social Sciences:
Equipping students with analytical and leadership skills to address social challenges.
Arts & Sports Science:
Developing creativity, discipline, and physical excellence through music, drama, visual arts, and sports.
Education at KISC goes far beyond academics. We identify and nurture talent, providing students with opportunities to shine both locally and internationally.
